In case of any discrepancy between the French and English versions of this document, the French version prevails.
These terms govern access to and use of Milly. By installing the app or creating an account, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. They are published at https://milly-virtualassistant.fr/terms.
Milly is published by Aristide Hervé Mbassi Demoudourou, a natural person, reachable at aristide.mbassi28@gmail.com and residing at 91 D Rue Gabriel Péri, 42100 Saint-Étienne, France.
Milly is an iOS application backed by an online service available at https://milly-virtualassistant.fr. Accounts are created exclusively through Sign in with Apple: no password is created with Milly. You are responsible for the security of your Apple account, which controls access to your Milly account.
The service is not intended for people under 15, the threshold set in France under article 8 of the GDPR. No account is knowingly created for a minor under 15.
Milly is a personal assistant that organises your day. You talk to it in a chat; it creates and moves appointments and tasks, proposes a plan for the day and projects the result to your Google Calendar. It can send you push notifications on iOS.
To read your calendar and write the appointments it creates, Milly asks you to authorise access to your Google account, limited to the calendar scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar). You can revoke this authorisation at any time from your Google account settings (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions). Without it, calendar features stop working, but the rest of the service remains usable.
You agree to use Milly for personal and lawful purposes. In particular, you must not attempt to access other users' accounts or data, deliberately disrupt or overload the service, circumvent its security measures, or use it to produce or distribute unlawful content.
Milly relies on a language model to understand your messages. Such a model can be wrong: it can misunderstand a request, propose an inconsistent time, or state something inaccurate with confidence. Check any information or decision that matters to you. Milly provides no medical, legal or financial advice, and nothing it writes should be taken as such.
The place suggestions Milly displays come from the Google Places API. By using these features, you agree to the Google Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms) and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), which are incorporated by reference into these terms. Some place summaries are authored by Google and displayed verbatim, with the attribution Google requires.
The application, the service, their code, their design and the name Milly remain the property of the publisher. These terms grant you only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. The content you enter (messages, tasks, appointments) remains yours; you grant the publisher the right to process it solely to operate the service.
Milly is a beta. The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability, continuity or freedom from errors. Features may change or disappear, and the service may be interrupted, temporarily or permanently, without notice.
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service, such as a missed appointment, an incorrect day plan or service unavailability. Nothing in these terms excludes the publisher's liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
The publisher may suspend or close an account in case of a breach of these terms, with prior notice where possible. You may stop using Milly at any time and delete your account yourself, from the app settings, as described in the privacy policy; your data is then erased immediately.
These terms may change. In case of a substantial change, you will be informed in the app or through another reasonable means, with the new version and its date. Continuing to use Milly after a new version takes effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts. If you reside in another country of the European Union, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
